From our base camp on North Island Barranyi National Park you are
only minutes from some of the best sport, reef and light game fishing
areas in the gulf.
'BATHSHEBA'
Our flagship a 33ft aluminum game fishing vessel is complimented by
aluminum runabouts from 14 to 16ft, an ample fleet to service a maximum
of eight guests. All fishing tackle is supplied on a replace if lost
or damaged basis, of course you are always welcome to bring your own
favourite fishing gear. The many species that can be targeted (depending
upon season) include: Sportfish - Trevally, Mangrove Jack,
Barramundi, Queenfish, Coral Trout, Red Emperor and Sweet-lip. Light
Tackle Game Fishing - Sailfish, Spanish Mackerel, Cobia and Barracuda.
Getting There!
Although North Island is in a remote area, Borroloola our closet
town is serviced by a sealed road and has week day flight into the
area.
Accommodation
All rooms have comfortable beds, are fully screened and equipped
with ceiling fans. Meals are of an excellent standard consisting of
sumptuous barbecues, fresh seafood, juicy steaks and camp oven roasts. |
